The Basket
Basket Grace, founded in 2009, started as a fundraising project to raise awareness of kids in America that cannot afford school supplies. After a successful first outing, founders Amy, Justin, and Alex decided to take their idea nationwide, and tackle the issue of school supplies full time. Five years later, Basket Grace has supplied more than 800,000 students, and donated more than $150,000 to various charities. Additionally they have expanded their sights to the hunger-relief and educational scholarship causes.
While it started as a simple project, Basket Grace has grown into a philanthropic powerhouse dedicated to financing and supplying students, and feeding the hungry. We're like Easter, except we don't hide our supplies and dress up in bunny costumes to spread joy. The Business
Basket Grace has committed to donate one basket of supplies for every one basket sold. Each basket purchased means one less person to worry about starting the school year without the proper tools.
This year, Basket Grace is proud to announce its new Care Package. With every Care Package purchased, Basket Grace will provide one basket of food for a hungry person in need. |
